Basic Purpose
The Work Study for Career Services will support the mission of the Career Services office by assisting with career development programs, employer relations, and student engagement initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in career counseling, event planning, and professional development while working in a university setting.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide career advising to students on topics such as resume and cover letter writing, job and internship search strategies, interview preparation, and professional networking.
· Assist in the planning, promotion, and execution of career-related events, including career fairs, employer panels, and workshops.
· Develop and deliver presentations on career development topics for student organizations, academic classes, and campus groups.
· Conduct outreach to students through email campaigns, social media, and in-person engagement to promote Career Services resources and events.
· Assist in maintaining the Career Services job board and other online platforms by posting opportunities, reviewing student profiles, and updating employer listings.
· Support employer relations efforts by assisting with outreach, coordination of campus visits, and collection of employer feedback.
· Research career development trends, employer hiring practices, and workforce industry trends to support the development of relevant career programming.
· Provide administrative support, including managing appointments, maintaining records, and compiling data for reporting purposes.
· Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student organizations to enhance career readiness initiatives across campus.
· Other duties as assigned.
