The Department of Physics is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented undergraduate student to assist with the setup, takedown, and organization of laboratory equipment for physics courses. This work-study position offers hands-on experience in a laboratory environment and supports the smooth operation of instructional labs.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up laboratory experiments and technical equipment in preparation for physics lab sessions
Dismantle and properly store equipment and materials following each lab session
Maintain organization of lab storage areas and ensure equipment is stored safely and correctly
Transport materials and equipment between storage areas and laboratory rooms
Assist faculty or staff with other lab-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Thomas More University
Successful completion of General Physics I and II
Must be in good academic standing
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently
