Basic Purpose
To assist the Education Department Chair with data analysis and related program and office support to ensure that all undergraduate and graduate programs operate effectively, efficiently, and professionally in order to support the School’s compliance with accreditation and the University’s Catholic mission. This is a full-time position of 37 and 1/2 hours per week, reporting to the Chair of education (60%) and to the Director of the Dual Credit Gemini Program (40%).

Principal Activities
Undertake clerical and administrative support tasks
Recruit potential candidates:??immediate contact via email or phone?
Serve as point of contact with students regarding:
--Field hours
--Portfolio system
--Praxis tests
--VIRTUS training and updates
--Education Program requirements and student status
--TEP applications, test scores, transcripts and interviews
--State requirements and paperwork including but not limited to:
Background checks
Health verification
TB tests
Code of Ethics
Track student progress in meeting program requirements
Oversee candidate applications to graduate programs, Teacher Education Program, & Student Teaching
Maintain student files
Supervise education work study students
Data entry into EPSB and OELE state systems
Maintain portfolio system: point of contact for vendor/students, troubleshoot, collect data, create reports
Create forms and surveys and collect & report data gathered through those items
Coordinate department calendar
Coordinate department & committee meetings, & other on-site events
Build/maintain Education Canvas site
Collect, organize, and store data from multiple sources for reporting and accreditation purposes including, but not limited to:
--Teaching observation documentation
--MOUs with local school districts
--Cooperating or mentor teacher orientation
--Praxis test scores
--Student demographic, placement, and scholastic data
Prepare various reports to specifications including: EPP, Title II, Title II IRPC, ETS (PRAXIS), Admission/Exit, Annual Report, CAEP annual report
Manage invoices and stipends including remuneration of mentor and cooperating teachers
VIRTUS Coordinator
Coordinate Alumni and Employer Surveys (1 year out)
Coordinate support for Accreditation preparation/visits
Support department, chair, Gemini Director, and students
Support new undergraduate and graduate programs as they are developed
Undertake any additional duties, as assigned
Gemini Program Responsibilities:
Coordinate Cognos reports for all dual credit programs (Boone County Early College, Kenton County Academies, all schools TMS has dual credit courses being taught in) (daily)
Coordinate with TMC registrar to maintain updated rosters
Communicate with each building contact point to answer questions about registration status (daily)
Sort and file school, student, faculty, course lists using Cognos to maintain accurate data points on each student affiliated with TMU dual credit (daily)
Distribute class lists, student letters, Disclosure Statements, and FERPA Waivers to school contacts
Share data with admissions for recruiting opportunities
Share responsibilities with admissions in maintaining accurate information on the website
Coordinate and maintain all MOU’s with each school
Education, Specialized and/or Technical Knowledge Requirements
AA or BA degree
Minimum of 2 years related experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
