Presidential Ambassadors (PAs) are a dynamic group of 8–10 student leaders who support the mission of Thomas More University by working with the Institutional Advancement team and representing the student voice in alumni and donor relations.
This position involves a lot of behind-the-scenes support—yes, some of it’s tedious... but it's also incredibly fun and rewarding! You’ll help keep things running smoothly while gaining real-world experience in higher ed, fundraising, and nonprofit work.
Assist with administrative tasks like filing, organizing, stuffing envelopes, running errands, and general office support
Help prepare for alumni and donor events, including setup, materials, and day-of coordination
Draft and send handwritten thank-you notes and make occasional thank-you calls to donors
Represent the student body at select meetings and events, including bi-annual meetings with the President
Support special projects as assigned—no two weeks look exactly the same!
Attend PA training retreat and team development sessions throughout the year
Must be a full-time undergraduate student with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
Demonstrated involvement in campus life—academics, athletics, service, student orgs, etc.
Friendly, organized, and open to learning new things
Able to work independently and stay on task (even when folding paper for an hour straight)
