On May 30, 2025, the Department of Public safey received information of an injury that occurred during a football event at Griffin Plaza. Public Safety responded to incident only to find the incident had occurred fifteen minutes prior to notification and the involved parties had left the scene. This incident was handled by the football coaching staff and the on-duty athletic trainer.

On May 29, 2025, at 0357 hours, the Department of Public Safety was alerted to a fire alarm activation at the Barnwood Facility. The notification was for a water flow alarm. Public Safety officers, along with the Edgewood Fire Department responded. Upon arrival and investigation it was discoverd a pipe had burst. The water was shut off to the building and TMU Facilites began the process of clean up and repairs.

On May 17, 2025, the Department of Public Safety was alerted of a fire alarm activation in Stallmeyer Hall. Public Safety officers responded and learned the smoke detector in room 115 had activated. Public Safety officers investigated and found no trouble in room 115 or the rest of the building. Edgewood Fire Department responded and confirmed the alarm to be a false activation.

On May 14, 2025, at approximately 1245 hours, Public Safety recevied a report of a fire alarm on campus in zone 133, in the Academic Center. The Edgewood Fire Department and Public Safety Officers responded, conducted an investigation and determined the alarm to be a false alarm.

Upon investigation it was determined the alarm was coming from the Academic Center. The Edgewood Fire Department and Public Safety Officers responded and confirmed the alarm to be a false alarm.

On May 2, 2025, at 1100 hours, the Department of Public Safety received a report of a male in the women's bathroom in the Connor Convocation Center. The Director of Public Safety conducted an investigation into the report. During the investigation, it was discovered the male subject observed in the women's bathroom was an employee assigned the Department of Facilites - house keeping. The male subject was conducting their duties and was in the women's restroom clearning at they time they were observed to be in the women's restroom.

On May 1, 2025, the Department of Public Safety received a report of people trapped in the elevator in the Academic Center. Public Safety Officers responded and confirmed the elevator was stuck between floors with two individuals still inside. Public Safety Officers made the required notifications to the Department of Facilites who notified the elevator service provider. The elevator service provider responded and was able to reset the elevator allowing the two individuals to exit the elevator without incident and unharmed.

On April 30, 2025, the Department of Campus Safety recevied a report of a theft from the Veteran's Room located in the Administration Building. A box of popcorn, valued at $40 had been taken from the room sometime between April 22 and April 28, 2025. The Director of Campus Safety took the report and is handling the investigation which remains on-going.

On April 13, 2025, at approximatley 0840 hours, a student reported a theft from his vehicle. The student reported his vehicle was parked along Observatory Drive and during the overnight hours an unknown invidual(s) had gone through the vehicle and stole some items. Lakeside Park/Crestview Hills Police were notified and responed to take the report and handle the investigation.

On March 30, 2025, at approximately 1410 hours, Campus Safety Officers were alerted to a medical emergency on the playing surface at Griffin Plaza. Upon arrival, Campus Safety Officers learned two soccer players had collided resulting in one of the players soccer receiving a head injury. Edgewood Fire/EMS responded and transported the player to an area hospital.

On March 25, 2025, at 2103 hours, a student became disorderly with Campus Safety Officers while they were conducting parking enforcement activities. The students actions and langurage toward the Campus Safety Officers were in violation of the Saint's Code of Conduct. The matter documented and turned over to Student Conduct.

On March 23, 2025, at 1225 hours, Campus Safety Officers assisted the Department of Housing with a dorm room search. During the search, multiple items were located that violated the Saint's Code of Conduct and the Resident's Life Code of Conduct. Matter turned over to Housing and Student Conduct.

On March 19, 2025, at approximately 2304 hours, Campus Safety Officers were alerted to a tree down between the Saint's Center and Marian Hall. The tree had fall as a result of a strong thunderstrom that had gone through the area. Campus Safety Officers cordoned off the area and notified Grounds Maintenance who removed the tree the next morning.

On March 17, 2025, at approximately 2018 hours, Campus Safety Officers recevied a report of an injuried student at the Connor Convocation Center. When Campus Safety Officers arrived they learned a student had dropped a weight on their foot. Edgewood Fire/EMS responded to the scene and transported the patient to an area hospital.

Upon arrival campus safety personnel learned the alarm was set off by a work crew who was working in the building. Edgewood Fire Department responded and confirmed the alarm was false.

On March 3, 2025, at approximatley 2025 hours, Campus Safety Officers a student reported they were being harrassed or bulling by another student. The student disclosed the specfics of the bulling behavior to campus safety officers. Campus Safety Officers took the students information and statement and turned it over to the Student Conduct.

On March 4, 2025, at approximately 1320 hours a student at Thomas More University came to the Office of Campus Safety to appeal a parking citation. The student was referred to MYTMU and instructed on how to file the appeal through the MYTMU site. The student, seemingly unhappy with the citation and appeals process became aggressive in his words and actions taking a fighting demeanor toward Campus Safety personnel. Campus Safety personnel were able to de-esculate the situation. The student was asked to leave and eventually did so. Matter was turned over to the Director of Student Conduct.

On February 27, 2025, at approximately 1400 hours, Campus Safety Officers were alerted to a fire alarm activation in Stallmeyer Hall. Upon arrival, Campus Safety Officers learned a spinkler head had been activated on the third flow of the building. Edgewood Fire Department responded and upon further investigation it was learned there was no fire and the spinkler activation was the result of human error.

On February 25, 2025, at approximately 1830 hours, the Department of Campus Safety responded to a medical complaint at CCC. Upon arrival, Campus Safety officers learned an individual had sustained a head injury. Edgewood Fire/EMS responded and transported the pateint to an areas hospital.

On February 22, 2025, while reviewing CCTV footage Campus Safety Officers observed individuals helping themselves to Java City's coffee bar after hours. The individuals were associated and attending an event in the Academic Center. The idenfity of these individuals was not able to be determined.

On February 23, 2025, at approximatley 2015 hours, the Department of Campus Safety responded to Stallmeyer Hall for an emotional crisis. Campus Safey officers, along with officers from Lakeside Park/Crestview Hills Police made contact with the individual. The individual agreed to be transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatement. Fort Mitchell Fire transported the individual to the area hospital.

On February 21, 2025, at 1445 hours, the Department of Campus Safety responded to a fire alarm at Murphy Hall. Upon investigation it was learned the Department of Facilites was working on the buildings water system which caused a water flow alarm. Edgewood Fire Department responded and confirmed the false alarm causd by the work be done by the Department of Facilites.

On February 15, 2025, at approximtely 1545 hours, the Department of Campus Safety received information a vehicle was in Observatory Lake. Upon arrival, Campus Safety Officers learned an unoccupied vehicle rolled from a parking space across the drive and grassy area into the lake. No one was injuried as a result of this incident. On January 28, 2025, at approximately 2025 hours, while conducting rounds Campus Safety Officers observed three vehicles with obscene and/or offensive markings on the vehicles. These markings were drawn in the dust/dirt on the vehicles. The markings did not create any actual damage to any of the vehicles and were able to be removed by simply whipping the dust/dirt off the vehicles. The owners were notified. Incident report was taken by the Depatment of Campus Safety.

On January 26, 2025, the Department of Campus Safety took a theft report. Employees working at the Food Lab reported a student took items of food from the Food Lab without paying for them. During the investigation conducted by the Department Campus Safety, the student was identified. The information was turned over to the Office of Housing and Residence Life for disiplinary action.

An elderly driver, believing she was traveling on Thomas More Parkway turned into the parking lot of CCC. The driver then drove onto and across the sidewalk in front of CCC. As the driver made the right turn in front of the Saint’s Center to travel toward Ackerman Hall, the vehicle became stuck on a landscaping rock. Lakeside Park Crestview Hills Police responded and took an incident report. A family member arrived and took the elderly driver home.
