Course Description:

Prerequisite: MAT 096 or a score of 18 or higher on the math section of the ACT. An introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics covered include frequency distributions, percentiles, central tendency, variability, standard scores, normal distributions, probability, correlation, hypothesis testing, and analysis of variance. Cross-listed as MAT 208. This course does fulfill the core mathematics requirement needed for graduation.
