Course Description:

Concurrent Requisite: EDU 301: This course will prepare preservice teachers to effectively teach STEM disciplines in K-12 classroom contexts. Participants in the course will explore research-based pedagogical approaches, design engaging STEM lessons, utilize relevant technologies, and learn strategies for assessment and differentiation within diverse learning environments. Concerted effort is placed on the use of mathematics and science based standards in K-12 education while examining inquiry-based learning, problem-solving, and fostering 21st century skills for K-12 students.
