Course Description:
This course explores the business side of the arts, focusing on how arts organizations, musicians, museums, and cultural institutions are managed and sustained. Students will examine arts marketing, audience development, fundraising, community engagement, and strategic planning. Real-world case studies and guest speakers provide applied perspectives. The course culminates in a consulting-style project with a local arts organization. Prerequisite: BUA 105 and Sophomore Standing.
