At approx. 1335 hours on November 25, 2025, a Thomas More University faculty member contacted the Department of Public Safety and relayed that a student had emailed him, stating that he [the student] had missed a class due to having an epileptic seizure earlier in the day at approximately 1000 hours. Public Safety Officers were able to locate the student at his dorm, and due to the student's dazed state and his complaints of injuries consistent with a fall, requested assistance from Emergency Medical Services. Edgewood Fire Department and EMS responded and evaluated the student, who refused transport for further evaluation at a medical facility.
