About the Role
As the Director, you will lead the strategic direction, external engagement, program design, and day-to-day operations of the ZCEI. You’ll serve as a professor of practice in the Robert W. Plaster College of Business, cultivate partnerships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and drive innovation in co-curricular programming. You will also mentor students, foster community engagement, and champion entrepreneurship throughout the university and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic vision aligned with Thomas More’s mission.
Design and lead innovative co-curricular programs that promote an entrepreneurial mindset.
Teach entrepreneurship courses and integrate academic and real-world experiences.
Cultivate relationships with donors, venture capitalists, startups, and industry partners.
Oversee Center operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and marketing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or terminal degree (e.g., MBA, Ph.D.) in a relevant field preferred.
Significant experience in entrepreneurship, venture development, innovation leadership, or startup ecosystems.
Proven ability to lead teams, mentor students, and engage a broad network of stakeholders.
