Position Summary
Covington Latin School seeks a dynamic, student-centered educator to teach Physics for the
2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching advanced high
school students at the AP level.
Key Responsibilities
? Teach AP and/or Dual Credit Physics.
? Integrate technology and hands-on learning into classroom instruction.
? Foster a growth-oriented, inclusive classroom environment aligned with the mission of
Covington Latin.
? Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum, cross-disciplinary initiatives, and student
support.
? Participate in school-wide activities, events, and professional development.
Qualifications
? Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Education, or a related field (Master’s
preferred).
? Teaching certification or eligibility preferred.
? Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
? Commitment to the school’s classical, Catholic educational mission
Preferred Experience
? Prior experience teaching in an accelerated or gifted environment.
? Ability to sponsor or co-sponsor STEM clubs or summer enrichment programs.
