Position Summary
The Coordinator of Nursing Student Services provides vital administrative support for the Nursing Department. This role is responsible for collecting and verifying student data, tracking academic progress, coordinating student events, and assisting with recruitment and retention efforts. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between students and faculty, ensuring clear communication regarding departmental policies and activities.
  • Collect and verify student and faculty health requirements for clinical placement.
  • Monitor student grades, progression, and program enrollment numbers.
  • Assist with student recruitment, retention, and orientation activities.
  • Organize and coordinate departmental events such as the biennial Graduates’ Day and annual Pinning/Recognition Ceremonies.
  • Maintain contracts with clinical agencies and oversee related documentation.
  • Provide administrative support, including greeting visitors, managing correspondence, and maintaining digital and physical records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a student-centered environment.
