Basic Purpose

The Assistant Women’s Lacrosse coach supports the Head Coach in cultivating a positive environment in which student-athletes develop and succeed academically and athletically.

Principal Duties & Activities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of all practices and game.
  • Administer individual skill sessions on the field or in the gym on a daily basis.
  • Prepare scouting reports including video analysis and breakdown of film for the team and for individual players.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high school and club coaches.
  • Utilize ARMS software to manage compliance and recruiting records.
  • Adherence to institutional, Great Midwest Athletic Conference, and NCAA Division II policies and procedures is required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

 

Education, Specialized and/or Technical Knowledge Requirements

 

Bachelor's degree.

Played or coached Division I, II or III lacrosse. If the assistant played at the college level then no experience is required. If they did not play at the collegiate level, then prior coaching experience is required.
