Position/Rank
The College of Health and Natural Sciences at Thomas More University invites applications for Adjunct Professors to teach undergraduate physics courses beginning in January 2025. We are seeking candidates with expertise in General Physics, Physics for Scientists and Engineers, Thermodynamics, Optics, or related subjects.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction in both classroom and laboratory settings. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in online course delivery and a demonstrated ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

  • Terminal degree (PhD or equivalent) in Physics or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a learning environment that is inclusive and equitable.
  • Proficiency with technology and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) is strongly preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is a plus.

Start Date
January 2025, or as soon as possible.
