Trinity Walsh, Ed.D., is an educator and higher education professional with more than 28 years of experience supporting students as they discover their strengths, explore opportunities, and navigate their educational journeys. Her career has spanned K–12 education, school counseling, college and career advising, higher education, and state-level initiatives focused on increasing access and student success.
Her teaching and educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that education should be student-centered, relationship-driven, and transformative. She believes students learn best when they feel known, valued, challenged, and connected to a community that recognizes the experiences and strengths they bring with them. Rather than simply preparing students to earn a degree, education should help them develop the curiosity, confidence, critical-thinking skills, and sense of purpose needed to continue learning throughout their lives.
At Thomas More University, Trinity brings this philosophy to both her teaching and her work with students, emphasizing community, connection, collaboration, and belonging. She strives to create learning experiences that encourage students to reflect, ask meaningful questions, consider perspectives beyond their own, and connect what they learn in the classroom to their lives, communities, and future professions.
