Dr. Rebecca Flank is a violist originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a Bachelors in Music Performance and Renaissance and Medieval Studies from Emory University (cum laude), A Masters of Music Performance from Boston University, and an Artist Diploma and Doctor of Musical Arts in Viola Performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati (cogn. in Musicology).
She is an award-winning chamber musician and soloist, and a busy orchestral viola player in the Cincinnati area, playing with the Richmond Symphony (IN), Springfield Symphony, Dayton Philharmonic, Lexington Philharmonic, Lima Symphony, Kentucky Symphony, and Butler Philharmonic.
She is pleased to have a growing studio of students at Thomas More University, and loves being able to help young musicians grow!
