Dr. Brandon C. Dodge is a freelance percussionist, music educator, and composer/arranger currently based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Brandon has performed extensively with several Cincinnati-based ensembles, including the Queen City Opera, the Richmond Symphony, and the saxophone and percussion group Safe Sounds Duo, who were recently invited to perform at the 2024 Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium and the 2024 NASA Conference at Oklahoma State University.
Brandon is a founding member of the electronic piano and percussion duo Against Sundials, who presented a clinic/performance for the 2022 Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). While obtaining his DMA, Brandon was a featured soloist with the CCM Chamber Orchestra in a performance of Unsuk Chin’s Double Concerto for percussion and prepared piano.
A dedicated and enthusiastic educator, Brandon currently works as Assistant Band/ Percussion Director for East Central High School in Indiana. He has been on the Front Ensemble Education Team with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps since 2016, and served as the Assistant Director of Percussion and Front Ensemble Arranger for the University of Cincinnati Bearcat Bands from 2017 to 2022.
Brandon holds percussion degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (DMA), Georgia State University (MM), and Jacksonville State University (BA). Brandon proudly endorses Innovative Percussion products.
