Ashley joined Thomas More University in July of 2022 as the College of Liberal Arts & Social Science’s Professional Advisor. She is from Brooklyn, New York, but spent most of her adolescent life in State College, PA. She has been happily married to her partner since June of 2021 and currently lives in Covington, KY. Her interests include reading and writing in her spare time, playing with her dog, Tim, and touring the various art museums and attending theatre productions here in the tri-state area.
Before joining the Thomas More community, she was employed for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Cabinet for Family and Health Services, where she advised members of the community on assistance programs such as SNAP, K-TAP, Childcare and Medicaid. It was this advising experience that aided her in her transition to a Professional Advisor here at TMU.
Ashley is currently working on a Master of Arts in Organizational Management & Ethical Leadership here at Thomas More University. She hopes to utilize this degree to shape her advising philosophy and aid in how she is advising first- and second-year students.
Ashley earned her "Master Advisor" status in May of 2023 through the QEP Learning Community here at TMU and encourages all faculty and staff that advise students to also becoming "Master Advisors" and attend any/all the QEP workshops as they offer essential information related to all aspects of advising!
