Sarah Blackwell started at Thomas More as an adjunct teaching 2 ENG099 courses in the fall of 2008. By 2010, she became a full-time "super-adjunct" teaching 4-5 courses per semester and earning an office. In 2016, she officially became a full-time Instructor. As of 2025, her rank is now Assistant Professor. She is also the Director of TMU's Writing Center.
