Dr. James Camp received his Bachelor's degree in Education from Tarleton State University in 1989, and his Master's and Ph.D. from Texas Woman's University in 1992 and 1995, respectively. Dr. Camp came to Thomas More College in 1998 and has chaired the Department since 2000. His specializations in Sociology are sociological theory, qualitative methods, and social movement and his specific interests are in Latin American culture, Mexican-U.S. Relations, and the Zapatista Movement.
