Dr. Dwyer’s research interests include presenting conference papers on topics that focus on French Contemporary Theater with an emphasis on the Absurd Theater of Eugène Ionesco. Her current research focuses on the XXI st century philosophical theater of Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
She participated in the Midwest French Art Discovery (Franco-American project) and worked on French artwork from the Taft Museum and the Cincinnati Art Museum. Her work was published by the French Education Government: https://www.guidigo.com/Web/Sg_euSmJVN8
For this project, she received the Order of the Palmes Académiques by the French Minister of Education in Fall 2017
Dr. Dwyer is originally from the West part of France, where she grew up in a small town next to Nantes. She enjoys travelling in France every summer, reading, painting and taking long walks in nature with her three children.
