Professor Moyer joined the faculty of Thomas More University in 1994. He holds an MBA in quantitative methods and an Master of Arts and doctorate in decision sciences. He teaches statistics, calculus and quantitative methods to undergraduates, and mathematical modeling in the MBA program. Prior to joining Thomas More he taught as an instructor at Wright State University and The Ohio State University. As an undergraduate he worked in the aero propulsion lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Professor Moyer was awarded as the Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 2010. In addition to his coursework, he conducts a seminar each semester on wine and food appreciation. He serves on the board of directors for multiple non-profit organizations. Away from campus, he raises and trains Russian hounds. He has guided his hounds to top-10 national rankings six times since 1998 and has appeared on Animal Planet several times.
