Jyoti Saraswat first came to Thomas More in 2014. She received her Phd in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County(UMBC). To the question why do math? , she firmly believes in the quote of Galileo: "The great book of nature can be read only by those who know the language in which it was written. And that language is mathematics. Math is the way to understand all sorts of things in the world around us."
