Thomas More University aims to prevent, promote, and protect resident students against vaccine-preventable diseases. The guidelines in this policy are consistent with the recommendations of the American College Health Association and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
Residence hall – any living space owned or operated by Thomas More.
Thomas More University recommends that all students submit a Student Health History Form, TB Screening Form, and immunization record. All students living in Thomas More residence halls are required to complete a Student Health History Form, TB Screening Form, and submit proof of the following vaccines:
Exceptions may be made by the Director of Student Health Services for religious or medical reasons with appropriate documentation. Students with exemptions may be asked to move off campus any time a contagious disease threatens the health and safety of any student.

The Student Health History Form and TB Screening Form are available to all incoming resident students online. The Campus Health Center will monitor completion. Resident students who have not submitted the appropriate documentation will be permitted to move in but will have registration holds placed on their accounts for the next registration.
