Course Description:
Prerequisite: SOC 216 with a C or higher or 217 with a C or higher. The contemporary sociological theory course involves exploration and application of contemporary sociological theories. Topics include theory construction, structural-functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interactionism, phenomenology, among others.
