Course Description:
Prerequisite: SOC 301 with a C or higher. The course on social change involves an analysis of the forces behind and factors contributing to sociological evolution. A variety of theoretical interpretations of this phenomenon are presented, discussed, and applied to specific historical and current events and postmodern forecasts.
