Course Description:
Prerequisite: BUA 105. As a survey of both the sports and entertainment industries, this course will provide an overview of the origins and structure of each industry. The current issues facing each industry will be explored. The sports industry will be segmented by looking at professional, college, high school, and youth sports. The entertainment industry will be divided into movies, theater, TV/radio, media/publishing, travel and tourism, and music. Cross-listed with BUA 310.
