Course Description:
This is a continuation the mentored teaching experience for Option 6 candidates who are in thei final semester and are continuing their teaching positions. Candidates continue to be mentored by an experienced teacher who will model effective teaching skills, serve as a mentor/coach, and assist TMU faculty in monitoring the progress of the candidate's overall effectiveness as a teacher. This section of Mentored Teaching occurs during the second semester of the program for Option 6 candidates and provides additional time with an experienced MAT faculty member to reflect upon their teaching experience and to continue practice of effective teaching strategies.
