Course Description:
Prerequisite: CHE 113; MAT 152; PHY 141. Recommended prerequisite: MAT 201. Concurrent requisite: CHE 313L. Assuming the mathematical techniques learned in calculus and the foundation laid in CHE 113, this course both expands and deepens the student's knowledge and ability to use the laws and principles of thermodynamics and kinetics as applied to chemical systems. Mathematical derivations, graphical analysis, and problem-solving methods are stressed.
