Course Description:

An introductory level course into the processes of digital photography. This course provides students with an understanding of basic camera controls, the ability to enhance photographs through editing software (Adobe Lightroom), and the capacity to apply their knowledge of photographic composition. Lessons on the history of photography and current contemporary trends are integrated into the course. Students are required to supply a DSLR or mirrorless camera as well as an external hard drive.
